Precocious beans...

I prefer my coffee strong, embellished with a generous dribble of cream.  I relish coffee so extensively, my love knows no bounds.  I'll take a latte, espresso, Americano, or any form of my precious beans.
Visit me over at Little Bits of Lovely today and discover what else I revel in and adore.
Chocolate crumbs {on the left} by Line Klein. Gleaming espresso {on the right} found here.

Fundamentals and flirtations...

Ah, post-vacation blues.  The deep blue of this gorgeous dining room {from the portfolio of Hans Blomquist} is subtly reminiscent of the Aegean blue that somehow wondered into the fresh lake nestled in the mountains of northern Utah where I spent my weekend frolicking and gathering freckles in the sun.
Speaking of blues, if you have a yearning for the rest of the visible spectrum, visit my guest tutorial at Housewife Bliss today {the photograph above is just a hint of the gorgeous visuals}.  The post is a combination of color fundamentals {including the many types of color schemes} and flirtations {teaming with ideas of how to incorporate color into your interior}.  I even polished my Photoshop skills just for the lovely Housewife Bliss readers.  Go ahead, take a gander...

Polished pebble...

Today I am lucky enough to be guest posting at The Shiny Pebble as part of the design challenge series.  Here is a little glimpse of my vision for Catherine's dining room.  Pure glamour, rustic reclaimed wood, raw steel, and luxurious linen.  {Click here to see the full post.}
Marsha from Splenderosa selected {and designed!} a statement necklace to match the feel of the room.  I love this necklace; it's like perfection for the collarbones.

Oh, those walls...

This living room is the epitome of casual grace.  The exposed brick walls anchor the large windows brimming with sunshine; the high ceiling perfectly opposes the low furnishings.  Perfection!
{Original image from Marie Clair Mason, as seen on the lovely Harmoni og Kontrast.  I am completely smitten with Harmoni og Kontrast, or harmony and contrast; it's full of beautiful things.  Expect to see many references to the adoration of Laila.}

Romantic reveries...

Hvítur Lakkrís has completely stolen my heart; Gua's blog is brimming with glamorous images of perfectly styled romantic vignettes {lovely places to sit and dream}.  Here is just a tease {there is so much more creative perfection to adore}.
Oh, how I wish this was just beyond my back door.

Love and lust...

Today I fell in love at first sight and lust at first click.  Gazing upon the visual feast of inspiration at Vosges Paris, I fell instantly and madly in love.  Desiree has filled Vosges Paris with creative brilliance to nourish my design obsession {plus, she shares my love for perfect blue patio chairs}.
As I was loitering on Vosges Paris, I wondered across this; the most amazing wallpaper by Studio Ditte, Sloophout Behang {Scrap Wood Wallpaper}.  This amusing interpretation of scrap wood furniture captures the character of perfectly aged salvaged wood.  Lust, pure lust.  Feature wall anyone?

Sprawling home therapy...

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotta Ward of Space for Inspiration.  There are so very many lovely things there, I had to steal {at least} one.
Originally featured on Apartment Therapy, this home in Laurel Canyon, California has little vignettes of perfection.  Here are my favorite shots of this sun-drenched space.
The walls in the dining room are alluring.
A crisp and fresh boudoir.
And the backyard I have always dreamed of {add a sprinkle of mason jar lanterns and I am in heaven}.
{My endless gratitude for the mention on Space for Inspiration.}

Flushed and blushing...

Absolutely shaken and weak in the knees...this humble little blog was mentioned on decor8!  Truth be told, Holly {of decor8} was actually admiring all the deliciousness of greige, but elle oh was credited with the introduction.
{Confession: I am just honored to be uttered in the same sentence as decor8 and greige.}
