Marsha from Splenderosa selected {and designed!} a statement necklace to match the feel of the room. I love this necklace; it's like perfection for the collarbones.

Polished pebble...
Today I am lucky enough to be guest posting at The Shiny Pebble as part of the design challenge series. Here is a little glimpse of my vision for Catherine's dining room. Pure glamour, rustic reclaimed wood, raw steel, and luxurious linen. {Click here to see the full post.}

Leigha, you did a fantastic job. There is so much glamour imbued into the total scheme. Your readers will adore it. Thank you so much for playing.
I love your ideas, I know Catherine's challenge. I like that you mixed something modern with classic items like the chandelier. Very stylish xoxo

Absolutly the best, Leigha - LOVE how you combine all the different styles and materials and get them together in such a beautiful harmony! LOVE the contrasts and what a necklace, WOW!!! Excellent job, Leigha, you should be proud of yourself. Hugs from Laila

I just checked out the full post and honestly, it's brilliant. There's not a single item I would change or not rock in my own digs! Looks like we're going to get along just fine :)
Thank you, all! I am humbled {and gleaming}.
I was just about to make myself brak away from blog surfing when I saw your dining room design...and now I can't stop reading! Can't wait to come back and see more, but for now, time to be a cheerful mommy! -Linsey
P.S. I wish it were as easy to find a dining room table in real life as it is on all of these beautiful blogs! Looking for one now and begging my readers to chime in!
Oh, and I was just admiring those tufted chairs in Serena & Lily. Wonder if they're really high enough to work at a dining table. Looks awesome! I'm a big fan of different end chairs. Doing that in my dining room...whenever I find my new table! Wink!
Linsey, thanks for visiting!
I think 'real life' would love using the Serena & Lily chairs to cap a dining table. The seat height is 17", so as long as the dining table height is standard, things should fit just fine.
I am off to explore your blog...see you there!
Leigha
