Delicate details...

Not long ago, I was day dreaming of Morocco; now I am obsessing.  This riad {a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden} in Marrakesh has completely seduced me with its delicate details and sensual doorway.  My heart skipped a beat {maybe two} when I first saw this at Desire to Inspire
Just for the record, I could be there tomorrow.  I will wait patiently {with baited breath} for my invitation.
{Photographs by Paola Miozza for Marie Claire Italy.  Be sure to check out the rest of the riad.}

Eight blissful tentacles...

A recent search for octopus wallpaper {I love salty creatures!} led me to Go Home; this company, based in Germany, produces wallpaper singing with creativity and playful with scale.  The petite collection boasts only five designs, but all five are gorgeous.
Octopus Pop features an enchanting perspective with an impressive dimension {the octopus is about thirty inches wide}.
Anakreon {based on a Greek poet's obsession with women and wine} flaunts an intricate medallion available in too many lovely colors to pick just one.
If you have a taste for caviar or a craving for a menagerie of lobster claws, be sure to check out the rest of the designs.

Get sappy...

Did you know planting just one sapling can neutralize the carbon footprint of a blog for fifty years?  Did you know there is an initiative {in Germany} that will plant a tree {in California} on behalf of your blog?  Did you know it could be that easy {and free} to make a difference?  Join the fun, plant a tree!
{Thank you Soh Inspired! for introducing me to the My Blog is Carbon Neutral campaign.  Image by yours truly, Leigha Oaks.}

Polished pebble...

Today I am lucky enough to be guest posting at The Shiny Pebble as part of the design challenge series.  Here is a little glimpse of my vision for Catherine's dining room.  Pure glamour, rustic reclaimed wood, raw steel, and luxurious linen.  {Click here to see the full post.}
Marsha from Splenderosa selected {and designed!} a statement necklace to match the feel of the room.  I love this necklace; it's like perfection for the collarbones.

Isabella's two chairs...

A Perfect Gray recently shared an alluring image, Isabella's Two Chairs by Michael Eastman.  My eyes are so, so satisfied by this opulence.
Manrique Street is another lavish glimpse from Mr. Eastman; the colors are so rich and exquisite.  Both of these lovely images were taken in Cuba.  {Embargo hopping, anyone?!?!}

Pallet-able...

Aidan Gray Home offers this charismatic Wooden Desk Crate. This practical little product is welcome at my house any day.

Blooms...

Relish this little glimpse I took of paradise {maybe this soggy Thursday has me a little homesick for the Hawaiian sun}.

Garden charm...

Terrain is full of sweetness and charm in a perfectly understated manner.  Here is a sample of their delights {both new and vintage} for your home and garden.
Mossy lichens wrapped delicately in an organic shape. {How perfect is that wallpaper taking center stage from the background?!?}
Avian allures in the form of twigs and an image too sweet to resist.
Concrete magnolia {seriously, concrete}.
These antique French baby bottles are a charming glass display.
Galvanized garden glamour {or a pretty and pragmatic rubbish pail}.
In case you have a bit of darkness to light up with a bevy of charisma...

Casual glamour...

This space makes me feel glamorous, but with just enough casual {linen} elegance to go barefoot.
{Lovely image spotted at Little Blue Deer.  I am pining to explore the rest of the house - anyone know where I can peruse to my heart's content?}

Porcelain perfection...

I was lounging in the deliciousness over at Design for Mankind when my heart skipped a beat for this piece of porcelain perfection from Far4.  I swoon over skeleton keys, and this one is no less swoon-worthy.
Far4 also has delicate porcelain pears that would be so graceful lounging around in my kitchen.

Knobby knees and numerical creatures...

The moment I set eyes upon this set of knobby knees {at Unruly Things}, I felt my own knees get weak.  This print of Stanley, Baby Giraffe No. 3, is perfection - adorable and sweet perfection by Sharon Montrose.
A few more shutters of Sharon Montrose's perfection {and more Stanley, too}.

Jayson's still charming...

Today my tiny mail slot was full of sigh inducing beauty, the new Jayson Home & Garden catalog {it seems wrong to call a visual delight of beautifully styled bliss and products a mere catalog};each glossy page is filled with more perfection than the last.
Here are a few things that are longing to live under my roof.
A charming Bee Specimen Box.
Bone china Farmers Market Baskets with a smooth and glossy finish to hold the season's sweetest pickings.
Functional and structural whimsy, the Workshop Cage Lights.
I want to collapse into the historical Gloria Chair
Two sofas equally adorable and stunningly unique, the Angelica and Amalfi Sofa.

The castle that holds my heart...

Seven thousand feet of industrial glamour, this space is glowing with the patina that only time can lend. Years as a school, a gas depot, a garage, and a warehouse have filled each wooden pane with pure character. This is exactly the kind of space I dream of one day living in (minus five thousand square feet).
Harmoni og Kontrast introduced me to the visual feast at Castle Gibson.  Laila {of Harmoni og Kontrast} has emerged as a creative source of inspiration and an endearing friend.

Pure glamour...

Sometimes I stumble on a morsel of information that makes me smile; I just discovered that one of my favorite homes ever was designed by Desiree Ashworth.  Ms. Ashworth has a beautiful blog, Decor de Provence, spilling over with delight.
This image is a newly styled version of an old favorite {I would recognize Amy Neunsinger's walls anywhere}.  Don't tolix chairs make everything just a little bit sweeter?!?!
