An unperfect gray...

Summer is over? This weekend I fell into a mildly {okay, drastically} depressing epiphany. The skies were an ambivalent gray. Summer is over. I am beginning to doubt if I will ever adjust to the fleeting sense of sunshine that is the ephemeral Pacific Northwest Summer.
The impending bed- layered with soft blankets {this gorgeous hint of greige is from Linen and Lavender}.

It is gorgeous hint of griege! I am not really depressed that summer is over though. Fall is my favorite season! I will get a little down come winter cuz I hate it!

From someone who is just now coming out of a long winter, I say that you need a bed like that and you need lots of long vacations .
You can always visit me, Spring is here, Summer around the corner !

I find I all too easily stay indoors on hot days so this summer I made myself go outside and squeeze out every bit of sunshine that England offered me! It made a real difference to how I feel. You could try that nextyear and see if it helps.

I thought september was still summer here! :-(
Let's get in back in bed, close the curtains, a little side light on and a great book, that's life! ;-)

Enjoy your cool, fall-ish weather. We're still sweltering here in Florida. :)

But I thought we had already agreed that gray is a lovely color?!(:

I don't mind this time of the year at all. I seem to start complaining when it gets too hot or too cold.

My friend Kendra (from Portland) came for a visit this weekend. I mentioned you! Be prepared for some bar hopping before Thanksgiving!

Bless your heart!! I abandoned the PNW when Summer never happened. Do not, I repeat: "Do Not!" apply any gray scale design to your interiors in the PNW. You need color! And, something that looks beautiful with your incandescent greens out the window. My choice with green is always peach, gold, blue, purple. I feel for you, but when the sun is out in your corner, its HD!
Best,
Liz

ah ha! But at least sexy lazy girly bedding is the result of said slippery depression! Chin up buttercup--throw a buttery eye at that harvest moon! :-)
