Anthropologie 101...

A lecture series is in order.  There are so very many swoon-worthy fascinations at Anthropologie these days.  Where else to start than Anthropologie 101?!?  First class - lighting.
The Halo Chandelier is, well, angelic.

This Washed Ashore Lamp is a breathtaking sculpture of reclaimed wood; imagine it graced with the All Around The World Shade.  Simply lovely.
Function meets form in the Blazon Gleam Pendant; it will {eventually} have a gorgeous patina.
The Mechanic's Beacon Light is "aglow with both industrial charm and delicate grace."
If you prefer light with a shade of elegance, the Fluted Pendant Lamp will steal your heart.

Ravishing blue shutters...

There are countless things about this haven that make me exclaim.
The cornerstones.  The patio.
The hammock.  The relaxing afternoons everyone at this estate must be enjoying.
The fireplace.  The chandelier{s}.  The couch.  The ceiling.
The stairs.  The headboards {all three}.
The countertop.  The mirror.
The pristine little nook with the perfect place to lounge.
I fell for this space the moment I saw it {on Bliss}.  Everything about this place was captured beautifully by Henri Del Olmo's photography.

Humble little tea party...

Humble is a modest collection of hand printed "curiosities and textiles."  They are lovely little creations with bold graphics of unique creatures printed in water based non-toxic inks on organic cotton.
Some tea towels inspired by the sea {Jellyfish Tea Towel and Seahorse Tea Towel}...
Another tea towel inspired by land {Bear Tea Towel}...
To further steal my heart, a portion of all sales is donated to the Coral Reef Alliance.  Humble is slowly saving the world and gracing kitchens everywhere with beauty. {Oh, and the pillows!}

Blooms...

Amy Merrick has the pleasure of living my ideal profession; she is an editor at Design*Sponge and works at my beloved retail {and floral} crush, Saipua.  Jealousy abounds.
The lucky Ms. Merrick recently shared these images of dried {and/or drying} hydrangeas.  Lovely.

The Little Green...

The Little Green is a little company committed to green initiatives.  They sell paint and wallpaper with a true devotion to the environment.
Enjoy this bit of eye candy from the wallpaper department.  Take note, these papers are all printed on recycled and/or sustainably sourced materials {for every tree used, they make certain another four are planted}.  The Little Green prints with non-toxic pigments and advocates the use of their solvent free wallpaper paste.  How is that for a little green on your walls?!?
Silver Pine from the Oriental Papers collection {inspired by traditional Japanese kimono design}.
London Wallpapers II is a collection of historic wallpaper designs {based on original samples from the English Heritage archive at Kenwood House in London}.  Ascending from top to bottom, Paris Grey Marlborough, Marigold Lansdown Walk, and Quartz Lower George Street.

Something green...

A handful of shamrocks {for luck} from Studio Choo {have I mentioned lately how much I adore them?}...

Porcelain and platinum...

Italian architect and designer Paola Navone has my attention and affection.  Her products are simply exquisite.
Miss Navone has a lovely tea collection available through The Conran Shop. Her Silver Shiny New Baroque Coffee Cup and Saucer and Milk Jug are delights in porcelain and platinum.
If Paola hasn't won you over just yet, she is about to.  Her new collection, Taste {for Reichenbach}, is one of the loveliest gatherings of design and porcelain in existence.  This collection is beyond perfection.  My eyes will never tire of these graphic lines in crisp white; these pieces will adorn my walls one day.
My gratitude to Love. Obsess. Inspire. for introducing me to this collection (what a serendipitous search find for Paola Navone).

Shades of white...

The White Company {based in London} sells a range of products in a range of tints and shades of white; crisp white, off white, pearl, alabaster, etc.  If you search long and hard, you may even find a product in dusty pink or light grey.
The Richmond Headboard is the epitome of luxury.
The White Company has a beautiful collection of dining products, from dishes and china to table linens and teapots.
Portobello Jug anyone?  How about Portobello Egg Cups for petite inspired flower arrangements?
White has never looked so good.

Sam I am...impressed...

Meet Sam, of Sam's Notebook; she is Australian, lives in Sweden, and takes the time to share her {brilliant} design notes with the world.  Sam found this lovely interior {an apartment in Copenhagen}.  Enjoy!

A person's place for things...

The very first thing I did on my very first day in Portland was visit my very first retail crush, Noun: a person's place for things.  Fate, some may say kismet, brought us together.  I was scouring online for perfect porcelain acorns, the unbearably cute holiday tree ornament and gift adornment when your last name is Oaks {adorable, bordering on kitsch, I know}.  At the time I was hundreds of miles away, in the middle of transitioning to the Pacific Northwest.  Upon learning the shop with the perfect porcelain acorns {Noun} was in Portland, I opted to pick up the ornaments in person once I arrived in town.
What an introduction to Portland; I left Noun with ten little acorns, undying love for a vintage chair with mustard upholstery, a new obsession with antique silver platters, and a sense that Portland and I would be lifelong friends.  Here is a sampling of the products that won my heart.
Vintage books, great vintage books.
A collection of vases, glass, ceramics, and containers {both old and new} to hold your beloved belongings and blooms.
Decorative delights from mossy balls to vintage cameras.
The acorn adornments that started it all.
Visit Noun's online shop for more grammatically and visually correct scrumptiousness.  Better yet, go in person.  This post could never do justice to the lovely little antiquities at the shop.  To give you an idea, here are a few images of Noun {from their blog}.
